Fundraising Workshop Series: Proposal Writing and Budgeting Basics
Proposal writing is easier than you may think. The fundamentals of proposal writing, including budget preparation, as part of a basic grant proposal will be covered in this workshop. Geared to the novice grantseeker, this program discusses the key components of a proposal to a foundation, the kinds of expenses covered under “personnel”, and how to determine a request amount that is neither too high nor too low in relation to what you expect to accomplish.
Ideal for nonprofit staff and volunteers, this monthly workshop is free and will be held at the Akron-Summit County Public Library (Main Library) from 11:30am – 1:30pm. Attendees are welcome to bring lunch.
Workshop is sponsored by the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, the Akron-Summit County Public Library and the Association of Fundraising Professionals North Central Ohio Chapter.
