The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland is one of the oldest and most diverse institutions dedicated to the education, experience, application and practice of Gestalt Theory. Since 1954, programs continue to attract world-renowned faculty and committed students/practitioners from all over the globe.
Executive Director, GIC
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, energetic and entrepreneurial leader able to convert the GIC vision into a reality through effective collaboration and innovative programs. Success will be determined, in part, by expanding the scope and positive impact of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland in the local community and beyond.
In order to accomplish this, the Executive Director will have demonstrable collaboration skills with various stakeholders including but not limited to: the Board, faculty members, other educational institutions, accrediting bodies, and key support groups within the general community.
In addition it is expected that the successful candidate will possess substantial experience in strategic and business planning, developing community and business relationships, financial resource development and management, program planning, development and evaluation.
Accountable to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will develop and present policies, strategies, annual business plans and budgets as well as periodic updates.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree and significant experience in related fields. Flexible hours and seasonality of scheduling, plus the location in Cleveland’s cultural center, make this position ideal for an innovative and entrepreneurial professional.
