CNE was advised by the Alliance for Nonprofit Management that the Ohio Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives will host a free conference call for faith-based and community organizations, businesses and charities in the FIRST ever joint funding effort to assist those in need. This endeavor seeks collaboration and unique models and will be a pioneering effort not only for Ohio but for the whole nation.
The Ohio Strengthening Families Initiative will provide over 12 million dollars to support organizations in the following areas:
· Vulnerable Children
· Ex-offenders and their Families
· Low-income Individuals and Couples who choose marriage for themselves, and are interested in developing the skills and knowledge to form and sustain healthy marriages and build strong families.
